In recent years lead singer Danny O’Donoghue has been a judge on the BBC’s voice, but was replaced by Ricky Wilson in 2013. This year the boys have played a handful of intimate shows across the UK this August to tease new songs and play songs from their back catalogue.

Their latest album ‘Freedom Child’ has beaten LCD Soundsystem and OMD to the No. 1 spot on the UK Official Album Chart. ‘Freedom Child  is The Script’s fifth studio album, and first since 2014’s ‘No Sound Without Silence’.
